Breast cancer is pink. I'm not pink! Although I have come to grips with being a woman, the tomboy "Ilene" had a hard time wrapping her brain around what is commonly identified as a woman's disease. At first I was embarrassed to have breast cancer... It's so girly, so pink, and so scary...I’m dealing with it now.  I have wonderful family and friends and doctors ….here is my ongoing story:
